Hi!
If you are new with henshin, here you have some clues on how to get started
with it:
- First of all, you have to register in this web. Please avoid using
spaces in your username (known bug, sorry)
- In SL, open the Henshin box and copy its contents to your inventory. There
is an object called theCube that you have to rezz and touch to "link" your
avatar with your web user.
- Go to http://ai-designstudio.net/en/manual/henshinv/downloads/setup
and download HenshinTools. Install it.
- Inside the Henshin Tools program menu (Start- all programs- Henshin Tools -
HELP) you can find:
- 4 help pdf: AutoCAD guide, Second Life Guide, File Manager Guide and Henshin
Tools. Please, read them. We know our English is not as perfect as it should but
we are not English native speakers
- A dwg called Henshin Blocks Library. You can find preset Henshin blocks for
using in Autocad.
- Another dwg called Tutorial - Tutor-box. And the matching
xml file generated with Henshin Tools. This tutor-box is the one that is
explainded step by step in the Autocad Guide.
- All Henshin info and tutorials will be posted in the Henshin Book so, you should take a look
here.
- Now you can go to Autocad. You can open the tutor-box file and see how it
has been made. Also you can insert more blocks just for testing. Save it.
- Open Henshin Tools and import your drawing.
- Configure prims/layers and save your test. It will generate an xml
file.
- Upload it to this web using AI File Manager. If ai file manager is still not
visible for you after using theCube, please send us an email and we will fix it
as soon as possible (known bug again, sorry)
- Go to SL, rezz a henshin generator, configure the config notecard with one
of the keys given by TheCube. Explanations of how to do this are in the "Second
Life Guide.pdf" help file.
- While wearing the HUD, configure the config notecard with one of the keys
given by TheCube. Explanations of how to do this are in the "Second Life
Guide.pdf" help file. - Reset both HUD and Generator. Search generators on the HUD, tell it the name
of the xml you want to build and test it!
If you have questions, you can ask via email or forums :-)
Greetings!
