Although SLTools can be executed in a “mono” virtual machine (http://www.mono-project.com ), which will allow to use it more platform than Windows, the presence of the design programs we use are required.

Due to the “import plugin” system it uses, and to the way that they work, for this first version Autocad (2005 or higher) is required.

It requires too the presence of a Microsoft .NET virtual machine (version 1.0 or higher) or a “mono” virtual machine (Windows, Linux, OSX).

Note: The import system, executed over a “mono” virtual machine, can produce a serious error. The application will be closed with no information.

We are trying to find a solution to this error although, anyway, the import form Autocad will never work over mono (it doesn't manage ActiveX components).
